A guided tour of Ormesby Hall gardens and parkland with Nick Fraser, the Head Gardener for the National Trust Properties.

The tour starts at 14.00 and lasts for an hour and a half. We will meet Nick in the car park.

The journey from York takes about 80 minutes, with a choice of the A19 or over the edge of the moors through Helmsley and Stokesley. The post  code for the main entrance is TS3 0SR – Ladagate Lane. Some may well want to go in good time so you can see round the house in the morning. It opens at 10.30am.

There’s a café where  we can have lunch before and tea afterwards (they know the tour is finishing at 15.30 and will be expecting at least some of us then!)

The guided tour is free. Admission is free to National Trust members and £6.50 to non-Members. As ever friends and potential members would be very welcome to us.
