Announcing an Oktober Bier Fest event. Following the success of the Pop Up Pub Quiz Night last year, we are holding a Quiz night with a German flavour on Saturday 25 October 2025. Our Oktober Bierfest and Quiz Night will feature German bier and food – the Quiz will have lots of questions to do with all things German. We invite you to come in traditional German dress – lederhosen for the chaps and dirndl dresses for the ladies. Prizes will be given for the best (and wurst) costume. There will also be a raffle and a prize for the Pub Quiz winner. This will be a fun night and we hope to see the Hall filled. We ask people to buy tickets in advance so we have an idea of numbers and also to avoid disappointment on the night. This will be a cashless event. Doors open at 6.00pm and the event will go on past 11.00pm. Oompah music will be playing during the evening and we hope to show some typical scenes from an Oktober Fest evening in Munchen on our new audiovisual system.
