The Village HAll
Sand Hutton and Claxton Village Hall is at the heart of village life: home to a number of clubs and societies and a popular venue for parties and various village meetings and activities .
The Hall is situated in the village of Sand Hutton and serves the villages of Sand Hutton and Claxton and surrounding areas. The Hall is over 100 years old and was originally the laundry for Sand Hutton Hall (website link). The Village Hall was bequeathed to the villagers by the Church Commissioners in 1955 to act as a centre for community based activities, a purpose it very much serves today.
The Hall is used by a number of local clubs and societies and can be hired out for private use for parties, wedding feasts etc. More information on how to book the Hall can be found HERE.
